IREPA'S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

Community Assessments and Planning
We provide community organizations with assistance in assessing community problems, pressures, trends, and solutions in order to maximize their ability to improve community conditions. Our assessment services include townhall meetings, resident focus groups, surveys, policy impact analyses and GIS products.
Community Leadership Development
We conduct community leadership training sessions that provide community organizations, non-profits, and association board members with training that builds and expands organizational effectiveness. We also focus heavily on organizational capacity-building.
Community/Local Policy Issues Training
At IREPA, we assume that members of a given community are best equipped to grasp the key issues in their communities. From that premise, we provide community leaders with policy issue fact sheets that connect their immediate concerns with broader local, state and federal policy developments in order meet community goals and objectives.
Community Support & Volunteering
IREPA serves as a bridge between local communities and the volunteer and service learning communities. IREPA utilizes a combination of resources that include volunteers, interns and student-based research initiatives that put communities first.
Community Development Conferences
We offers full conference facilitation and services designed to profile vital community issues and solutions. Our conference services include planning and logistics, scheduling, travel and accommodations, registration, reports, and proceeding publications
